The key objectives of the event include discussion of the latest scientific results and technological advances, addressing current fundamental and applied challenges, exchanging progressive ideas, and fostering professional collaboration among participants.

The scientific scope of the Seminar covers a broad spectrum of research on the properties of caloric and multifunctional materials, as well as the development of applications based on these materials. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

New Materials
Synthesis and investigation of substances exhibiting giant caloric responses and related properties in the vicinity of phase transitions.
Theory and Modeling
Thermodynamics of phase transformations, numerical modeling, and computational design of advanced caloric materials.
Applications and Engineering
Development of prototypes for cooling and heating devices; practical implementation of effects arising from phase transitions in solids.

PUBLICATION OF SEMINAR PROCEEDINGS
- Abstracts of accepted presentations will be published in the Proceedings of the Seminar (indexed in RSCI – Russian Science Citation Index).
- Full papers selected by the Program Committee and passing peer review are planned for publication in the journal «Physics of Metals and Metallography».
VENUE
The Seminar will be held on the shore of the Caspian Sea at the Kaspiy Sanatorium, located in the village of Manas, Republic of Dagestan.
Kaspiy Sanatorium is located in the seaside village of Manas, Republic of Dagestan. Surrounded by mountains, the sanatorium features its own equipped beach with sun loungers and umbrellas, situated just 200 meters away. The distance to the nearest international airport in Makhachkala is 14 km. The sanatorium grounds span 44 hectares and offer a wide range of amenities, including: a water channel for boat rides, a water park, four outdoor swimming pools, sports and recreational grounds, a spacious heated indoor pool with a lounge area, finnish and infrared saunas, a landscaped park area with flower beds and a fountain, surrounded by a forest featuring rare tree species. Guest leisure activities are well-organized: the sanatorium provides a children’s playroom, a billiard room, table tennis facilities, and sports equipment rental services.
REGISTRATION FEE
The registration fee for in-person participation is approximately 50,000 Russian rubles and includes:
- Round-trip transfer from Makhachkala Airport
- Accommodation at Kaspiy Sanatorium (May 27–31) with three meals per day
- Excursions to scenic locations in Dagestan
- Coffee breaks during the Seminar
- Seminar materials and access to the conference hall
- Publication of proceedings
